What a night...

We had quite an interesting night....it took me back about 4 years. When Morgan was born for about the first three months of her life all she did was cry. We just thought she was a really colicky baby and someone was just punishing me. Later we came to find out that she cried to much for a colic baby and she had acid reflux and was in pain. They put her on medication and we had a perfect little child. So to current, last night Brody screamed (no joke) from about 9 to 3a.m. He did tease me for a bit at 1 and fell asleep for 30 min or so just enough for me to dose off and then back up again. I think I went through every emotion of feeling horrible for him to being so frustrated and tired I just wanted to cry. There was NO way to calm him down I tried to cuddle him, sing, rock, bounce, stand, put him on his tummy....you name it I tried it, he just wasn't having any of it. I think if he keeps it up I will take him to the doc because he acts just like Morgan did. He has his 2 month check up on the 19th so I am going to try to hold out till then. Thanks for reading my venting session. I am going to post some baby pics of Morgan for all to enjoy...she really was a sweet thing.

Just the begining...

Well here we go. I stated this blog like six months ago, but never made a post. So I have now updated everything and am taking the first leaping and posting.
Our life has been pretty busy... Brody was 6 weeks old on Friday. He is growing like CRAZY!!! And keeps us on our toes.....not to mention up all night too. We took him to the doctor last Friday (he has his first cold) and he weighed in at a whopping 10lbs 14oz. Keep in mind at a week old he was 6lbs 8ozs. Needless to say we are not worried that he isn't getting enough to eat.
Morgan is loving being a big sister. She is helping out all the time and loves to babysit...(she holds him on the boppy). She is now in her second year of preschool. She started a dance class in December. They had their first performance January 26th. It was so cute, and yeah we have the child that is like four steps behind everyone else because they are to busy looking at everyone in the crowd.
Robert had decided to go to school. He will be attending LCC (oh yeah!!) and getting an 2 year degree in Computer Networking. He is excited but nervous...since he has been working all of his adult life. I am excited for him to make this BIG step, our immediate future will be pretty poor as far as money goes but in the long term it will defiantly pay off.
As far as I go....I am in pursuit of my real estate license. I want to have a little bit more flexibility in my schedule which that will provide. Also, my mom needs someone to help her out when my grandma decides to retire. So my mom will move up to being the mother in the "mother daughter team". Other then that I am enjoying my time being a mother and wife.

Well that is us in a nutshell. Until next time.
